Cheaters Never Win …

And winners never cheat. Heard that one before? It’s an old one, but I remember teachers and coaches using it a lot when I was growing up. I always had a hard time believing it though.

Maybe, I’m being cynical, or just short-sighted, but sometimes cheaters do win. I’ve seen it in sports, in academics/school, in the workplace, and now maybe in a Presidential election. So yeah, sometimes cheaters do win.

I’m a little more of a believer in the second part, but even then, there’s room for some doubt. Depends on your definitions, I guess. How do you define a winner? The competitor who comes out on top? Scores the most points? Gets the most votes? Or are we talking about character?

And how do you define cheating? Breaking the rules? Intentionally? Or only by accident? What about just taking advantage of legal loopholes? Never is pretty easy to define, but don’t get me started on absolutes. Winners never cheat? Ever? 100% Squeaky clean, perfect record?

Now that I’m older, I suppose I can better see the “big picture.” So, maybe I’m a little more willing to believe the old saying. Maybe in the long run, cheaters don’t really win. Eventually the truth will come out. Karma, or the Law of the Harvest, or God, or Fate, or whatever you believe in, will catch up with the cheaters. I hope so. I would like to think there’s justice and fairness in the world.

If so, then maybe the real winners will get their rewards, and the recognition they deserve for doing things the right way, playing fair, being honest, never giving up. That’s kind of how I define a winner.

Perhaps what saddens me the most about the 2020 Presidential election is that so few Democrats seem to care whether or not they may have won by cheating. Only a small percentage are willing to admit that they don’t believe the election was fair and honest (https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-government/election/article247121139.html ), but even they seem perfectly content to have their candidate declared the winner.

Regardless of what you hear (or don’t hear) from the mainstream media, there was obvious fraud (cheating). Maybe a little, maybe a lot. Enough to change the outcome? Who knows? Either way, every American should be very concerned about this election and every one to come.

My Predictions for 2020

My predictions on the Election of 2020 have been so accurate, I feel compelled to make a few regarding the coming year. Unless a miracle takes place (or the Supreme Court has more guts than the state courts), 2021 will bring us a new President. With the White House under Democratic rule, I believe we will see a time of overwhelming peace in our country. It will not be a true peace, but it will seem so, and sadly, a majority of the great uninformed masses will believe it to be so.

Consider that for the past 4 years, the Mainstream Media (the most powerful arm of the Democratic Party) has given us a daily dose of doom and gloom. They have relentlessly attacked the President and accused him repeatedly of outrageous acts (with no evidence required other than their own hate-filled opinions). They have pushed a racial war upon us and used every opportunity to exploit and encourage class warfare, as well.

But now with Biden and Harris in the White House, we can expect Utopia. It won’t be real, but it will appear glorious. The pandemic will continue, but instead of daily death counts, expect to hear all about the wonderful progress being made by this administration, as they take full credit for the work done over the last year to produce a vaccine. (Of course, we will still hear some negative numbers, but these will all be Trump’s fault, because they just won’t be able to help themselves. Don’t expect their hatred to go away that easily.)

Economic news will be bad, but if they report it at all, it will be blamed entirely on the previous administration. Police shootings will be moved to the back pages, as will stories about kids in cages. Those things will still happen, but don’t expect the media to actually cover them. It will be like the corrupt dealings of Biden and his son and his brother. Zero coverage. Just move along, nothing to see here.

So, seriously, expect a time of great peace!

There is endless joy among the winners. Inauguration Day will be a party from start to finish, and it will only grow from there. Expect lots of gloating and patting each other on the back, and tons of stories about how great things are going. And scandals? Never! It will be like the Obama years. Yes, there were plenty of political scandals that the media ignored. (https://www.heritage.org/political-process/commentary/obamas-scandal-free-administration-myth) Expect the next 4 years to be the same.

As in Orwell’s great novel 1984, the daily news will always be positive and filled with lots of statistics to prove how wonderful your life is, until you look around and realize it’s all just smoke and mirrors. But don’t let your eyes deceive you. With the bad orange man gone, you’ll be living in Paradise. If you don’t believe it, just turn on the nightly news and let them reassure you!
