Is Talarico the new Beto?

Remember Beto O’Rourke? Anybody? In 2018, he ran for the Texas Senate and lost to Ted Cruz. At the time, Beto was the darling of the Dems, and he did his best to turn Texas blue. Thank God, he failed. (As he did in his Presidential run of 2020 and Texas Governor’s race of 2022.) Each time his campaign promoted him as a moderate, despite his extremely liberal views on just about every issue. Worse than that were the ongoing efforts to disguise his true nature and present himself as an entirely different person.

Beto (in case you have already forgotten him) was basically a wealthy, white kid educated in New York, yet he had almost half the state believing he was a poor to middle class Hispanic who championed the little guy. Now, Talarico is trying the same tactic. With very little effort, one can find many videos of Talarico espousing some of the most liberal policies imaginable. God is non-binary, there are six genders, he has a “favorite” drag queen, he’s running a “meat free” campaign, etc. His church offers free copies of their “inclusive” Bible! Yet, his recent campaign commercials present him as a conservative Christian preaching solid values, while denying his previous positions. And claiming his opponent is using AI videos to discredit him! I wonder why he isn’t proudly expressing all those values he’s previously preached. Oh, yeah, he’s running in Texas.

Here’s the reality. He’s pro-Trans and all things LGBTQ. He’s pro-abortion. He’s anti-guns. He’s anti-meat and anti-pipelines. He wants to defund the police, abolish ICE, and open the borders. And those are just the highlights. In short, he is a terrible candidate for office in Texas. So what does he do? Maybe he’s only following the advice of his church pastor. The lesbian one. She basically admits to counseling him to say whatever it takes to get elected. James Talarico's Lesbian Minister Just Outed Him – PJ Media When’s the last time you had a pastor encourage you to lie?

Sadly, the Democrats of Texas will gladly vote for Talarico, or anyone else with a D next to the name. And most of them will justify their votes by openly stating they are actually voting against Trump. Their absolute hatred for Trump (and anyone who supports him) or let’s be honest, anyone with an even slightly conservative point of view, will be their excuse for voting for candidates with wildly inappropriate ideologies. I believe there are some voters who do honestly agree with many of the positions they espouse, but not enough to get elected in a state like Texas.

I know personally some fine Christian people who are Democrats. How they can support candidates such as James Talarico, I have no idea. I don’t understand how they can vote for anyone aligned with a political party promoting such an obvious anti-Christian platform. As always, just my opinion!
